We provide a comprehensive repair service for all types of bicycle, from puncture repairs to full bike services, frame repairs and rebuilds.

 

             We offer three levels of servicing for your bike:

 £30.00   FIXED AND SINGLESPEED SERVICE - 

We say that fixed gear and singlespeed bikes need little maintenance 

but that does not mean that you can just ride and forget your bike.

Brakes checked for cable movement and worn blocks, then adjusted.

Bottom bracket inspected externally and checked for signs of wear.

Headset checked and adjusted. Chain lubricated and adjusted.

Tyres checked for damage and inflated to correct operational pressures.

Pedal bearings inspected.  Check and tighten all fittings.

                  This service includes:

      ·         Visual frame check and clean

      ·         Gear indexing

      ·         Brake alignment

      ·         Bolts checked and tightened

      ·         Tyres checked and inflated to the correct pressure

      ·         Written report of faults or defects

 

 

£50.00 General service£5ENERAL SERVICE

This service is recommended as an annual service for those bikes that are in regular use.

The price covers the cost of all labour for fitting new parts and includes new gear and brake cables if needed.

This service includes:

·         Visual frame check and clean

·         All brake and gear cables checked for wear and damage and replaced if necessary

·         Drivetrain (Chain, cassette and chain-rings) removed, cleaned, checked for wear and re-lubricated

·         Gear indexing

·         Brake alignment

·         Headset checked for free movement, tightened and re-greased if necessary

·         Bottom Bracket checked for movement and tightened if necessary

·         Wheels are removed, rims checked for wear and damage,

·          hubs checked and tightened, wheels trued and spokes re-tensioned

·         Bolts checked and tightened

·         Tyres checked and inflated to the correct pressure

·         Hydraulic disk brake bleed and fluid replacement if required

 

 

 

 

£90.00   Full service

This is our most comprehensive service; the bike will be fully stripped down, greased and rebuilt.

This service is designed for bikes that are used heavily all year round.

This service includes a General Service plus:

·         Full frame strip down and parts clean

·         Chase out the bottom bracket threads and re-face the shell

·         Re-face the headtube

·         Headset stripped down and re-greased

·         Hub service (including new bearings)

 

 

 

 

We also carry out individual jobs of all sizes
